DUCTEL Twist - The office trunking system with a twist
Nordic Aluminium manufactures and sells aluminium office trunking systems under the trade name DUCTEL Twist. Aluminium is a natural choice for trunking systems. It is light in weight, easy to work on site and antimagnetic. It attenuates electric fields, and is recyclable as a raw material. The system consists of eight frames, with boxes for socket outlets. Trunking ducts are available with 1, 2 or 3 compartments. In addition, the system includes all the necessary cover plates, corner pieces, fixings, junction pieces and installation fittings. The system also includes six mini-ducts made from aluminium.
One product - two corners
The DUCTEL Twist corner piece is extremely simple and easy to install, since the same product is used as the external and internal corner. In addition, it allows for a deviation of few degrees in corner measurements. The piece is designed specifically with simple installation and stylish design in mind. The corner piece is available with anodised and painted white finish.
The new faster end plate
The DUCTEL Twist end plate is installability at its simplest. The attachment to the trunking is done completely without screws and tools. The snap-on express attachment is pressed into place and the robust locking mechanism ensures a firm and reliable attachment. The effortless installment also brings additional cost savings - less time, less effort and less working hours.
Versatile outlets
DUCTEL Twist can be fitted with both 45 mm and 80 mm outlets. All the small outlet openings in DUCTEL Twist series are suited for 45 mm outlets, which allows for a slimmer and more slender appearance, without compromising in cabling space. The new TB 1340 trunking with two 45 mm outlet openings is an excellent example of the streamlined new generation trunking systems.
Surface treatments
DUCTEL Twist is available as a standard in painted white (RAL 9010) or anodised (EN 000) finishes. In addition to the standard paint the trunkings can also be ordered in other RAL colors. Besides the natural anodised surface, DUCTEL Twist is available by special order in anodised brown, yellow, red and black. The powder coated and anodised surfaces are easy to keep clean. Trunkings and covers are covered with a protective film, which prevents them from surface damages during transportation and pre-installation storage.
