Nordic Aluminium sections are used in various applications in the fields of building, electrotechnical engineering, transportation and traffic, as well as in domestic and office applications. Since 1962 over 24 000 different extruded aluminium sections have been manufactured to meet our customers´ needs. Our design service helps our customers to find the perfect solution. In cooperation with our customers we design daily at least three new profile shapes.
Most aluminium sections are extruded of so called precipitated hard alloys.
The most common aluminium alloys are:
AW-1070A [Al 99,7]
AW-6060 [Al MgSi]
AW-6063 [Al Mg0,7Si]
AW-6463 [Al Mg0,7Si(B)]
AW-6005A [Al SiMg(A)]
AW-6082 [Al Si1MgMn]
AW-6101 [EAl MgSi]
AW-7108 [Al Zn5Mg1Zr]
Besides the above mentioned alloys we can make other alloys too, according to customers´ requirements.
